Re: Host for odoo projectby
There are several low-cost options. I've had bad experience with cheap hosters with my vserversbeing blocked for weeks due to DDoS attacks. Never had that problem with Digital Ocean though. And their helpdesk always responded quickly enough.Amazon is really big (4 times as big as the next three combined), and I would recommend them, but it's definitely not low cost. As soon as you are making serious money, start hiring > 10 employees,I would start considering moving there.Ron2015-04-03 5:15 GMT-04:00 Rubén <email@example.com>:
How much are you willing to invest on your business? Low cost services like hostgator or ovh are what we used for developing and early stages of tinkering with odoo, but not for production. If an ovh server fails, you are ALONE. They can take about 2 days to give you an answer to technical problems and a quote to solve it is 80 €.
We contacted a managed services provider we knew personally and they designed the architecture specially, so we can focus on our core activity: developing.
You can use the same option or just a dedicated server, but I would advice not to use a low cost service for a business you take seriously.

Digital oceanJordiWould you advice any host service?Hello list,I am working on a odoo project and I need to find a host service for it.
It would be a server that can handle 100k monthly visit I would say.
I was considering OVH or amazon (https://aws.amazon.com/marketplace/pp/B00KNO9DYW) but I am opened to any other service.
