Well, rather than defining a manager for a product I was referring more generally to making it possible for a group (perhaps to be called 'Product maintainer') to be able to maintain all company products.

At this moment only manager roles such as Warehouse/Manager, Purchase/Manager, etc. are allowed to do that.

But sometimes companies just name "master data owners" that are the onces who centralize the changes to be done on some centralized master data.

Sorry if I created a misunderstood, we only "configure" such ACL nothing else, manually (by graphical interface) using the "Product Owner" field for our access rules.

It should be cool if you develop a preconfiguration for that but we frequently add this configuration in our customer configuration modules (very specific with specific documentation for internal process but nothing "great" at all).
