Re: Need Technical Helpby
As an Odoo Trainer I think I can help you, I can answer your technical questions.
You need to start learning Python, XML and basics of Ubuntu. The next step is to start learning Odoo, you can depend on it Official Documentation ( you'll find out it is not a good idea) OR you can start learning using My Odoo Technical Training on Udemy.com here.
I also can provide a one-on-one classes for you.
you can check my LinkedIn Profile too.
This may be a bit of a hijack from Essam’s original question: Can anyone recommend resources for learning about how to do things with the Technical submenu under settings, also in Developer mode?
I’m quite new to Odoo. I’m really a business process / implementation project consultant (mostly ERP-related, not SME), and I have no ambition to become a serious Odoo developer in Python. I’m too old J. However the things you can do to customise Odoo, even in SaaS, look like they are a big strength. I think there a quite a few people out there who are technical enough to use those facilities, who could easily be drawn into the Odoo world.

It may also help to attend the Odoo Experience this year and pay for some training there:
"Technical training" from odoo is available on site in multiple places:

Well, do you know Python?`If not, go here (or somewhere similar): http://www.diveintopython.net/
And a good place to start with learning to enhance Odoo is here: https://www.odoo.com/documentation/8.0/howtos/backend.html
But there's quite a lot of ground to cover... Good luck.
