Hi,
After changing some definitions in modules you should upgrade module.
I think the easiest way if you are using odoo in linux is using command prompt.

For help of command's syntax you can use this:

python/path-of-odoo/openerp-server.py --help

For example if you want update web module use this:
python/path-of-odoo/openerp-server.py -u web

Or if you want to update all modules you can use this:

python/path-of-odoo/openerp-server.py -u all

I think it's necessary to update modules with this method if you
change some modules that included in bundles such as
web.assets_backend or web.asset_common. After that system generates
new bundle and you can see changed modules.
