Just to add to the last comment, if you do not share your code nobody will have it, your not obligated to share it, however any person who is in possession of the code has the right to freely distribute/modify it.On a side note, I already developed a multi shipping carrier integration software called Omniship for v8. I would be interested to see what code you have to see if we could merge some functionality together to make a better product. Let me know if you would be willing to share.

Openerp V7 is under AGPL and forces you to publish any module to your users under AGPL with free redistribution rights. Therefore your module is already opensource. regards
