Re: Multi-Dimention Account Posting in an account_move_line, Possible?by
that is very needed functionality. Maybe there are official examples and guides how to split / allocate costs to different objects with analytic plan module?
For example, Project "Super System" was implemented for Corp Umbrella, sold by Sales manager Pieter, Implemented by branch Good Company BV, department Software development. CFO wants to allocate profits and loss of the project to those objects plus calculate salaries of the department employees. How to do that automatically? Important, not only through the invoice, because it doesn't distribute to any object and don't calculate losses. Usually that is done by correspondent cost objects. Is there similar functionality?

It allows to define multiple dimensions, models of how to spread entries, constraints per journal. >> Install the official module account_analytic_plans, it allows to >> define multiple dimensions/plans >> >> On Jan 16, 2015 11:58 PM, "Kitti U." <email@example.com >> <mailto:firstname.lastname@example.org>> wrote: >> >> Dear community, >> >> Normally in Odoo, we can have one additional *Analytic Account >> column* for projects or contract, when do the account posting, right? >> >> *QUESTION: *Are there addons or ways to have *Multiple Analytic >> Accounts posting* in an account_move_line? >> >> >> >> In other ERP, it is called Accounting Dimensions, where you can >> define dimension like, Projects, Departments, Sales Person, etc. >> but I couldn't find such concept in Odoo. >> >> I am not talking about Analytic Account Distribution >> (account_analytic_plan), which seem to only make sub table to >> define the percentage distribution of each project in a plan. >> >> Many thanks, >> -- >> Mobile: +66-(0)8-1841-7480 >> Your ERP Partner => www.ecosoft.co.th >> >> _______________________________________________ >> Mailing-List: https://www.odoo.com/groups/community-59 >> Post to: mailto:email@example.com >> <mailto:firstname.lastname@example.org> >> Unsubscribe: https://www.odoo.com/groups?unsubscribe >> >> _______________________________________________ >> Mailing-List: https://www.odoo.com/groups/community-59 >> Post to: mailto:email@example.com >> Unsubscribe: https://www.odoo.com/groups?unsubscribe >> > _______________________________________________ > Mailing-List: https://www.odoo.com/groups/community-59 > Post to: mailto:firstname.lastname@example.org > Unsubscribe: https://www.odoo.com/groups?unsubscribe > -- Fabien Pinckaers Odoo Founder Phone: +188.8.131.52.00 Web: https://www.odoo.com Twitter: @fpodoo Instant Demo: https://odoo.com/start
