Partner Relations vs. Address Types

Hello,

I have recently started to use the module "partner_relations" developed by Therp BV  and available in repo OCA/partner-contact, branch [7.0].

It is great, and I'm thinking that perhaps it should substitute completely the concept of address type, that cannot be gracefully extended because it is a fields.selection.

Then, every contact would have the default address type and this field would be hidden to the user.

The user can then use the 'Relations' tab to indicate relationships such as the ones already provided by field 'Address Type':
- Has Ship-to address
- Has Invoicing address

, but it would also extend gracefully, such as the one I used for the check printing:
- Has Remit-to address

Obviously when the ship-to and invoicing address should be proposed by default when you create a sales order, as it happens now when you activate the setting 'Allow a different address for delivery and invoicing'.

Your feedback is appreciated!

Regards,
