Re: Odoo 9c user interface
parThank you for your reply.
I didn't install too many apps. I just installed following apps in odoo8 and odoo9c
- Employee Directory
- Leave Management
- Attendances
- Timesheets
- Recruitment Process
The odoo9c menus are not organized properly.
I've been posting this issue, but there is no response from odoo-community.
The odoo community focusing only on enterprise, They are not bothering about odoo community release.
Probably its not a real issue, or there would be a community module.
The problem is only when you have many apps installed, and is very simple to fix, as pointed out by Dominique.

Thank you for your reply.
Do you think that is it possible to repeat this for all the installations?
The menus are often changed in Odoo community edition. It's very difficult to create custom add-on.
I've created custom add-on for re-organizing the menus in odoo9c. It's works fine. But it's not working in Odoo master, because the menu structure is changed.

Hi,
If you simply need to re-arrange the menus, you simply need to:- enable the developer mode- Look for 'Settings / User interface / Menus'
Then you can re-arrange the menus through the graphic interface.

You need to write custom add-on to organize the menus.
The menus are changed often. It's very difficult to promote Odoo community due to the menus organization and user interface.
I don't know why there is a gab in Odoo community version. Sometimes I feel that it's a way to promote Odoo enterprise.
I'm slowly moving from Odoo to erpnext. Because there is no hidden updates in erpnext.
I hope it may help you.Hi all,
Do we have a community module to adjust / arrange odoo 9c menus like it was in v8.0 or 9e ?
Regards,
