HI, im using V16.
We set the BOM with the materials and Operations. The product is CNC machining part where the part changes operations between CNC. The material is commonly the same type and quantity, it just changes the time by each operacion (CNC).
I was trying to set the BOM but it seems i need to create the BOM for each new part (I cannot link a new part to one BOM created already).

We don't have a single BOM for multiple products by altering its operation time by default in Odoo. Each variant's BOM needs to be configured with a different set of operations. Otherwise, we must customise

You can use Products variants for this:
- Creating one BOM and applying the same "material" or components to the different "product variants"
- And setting up different Operations for each "product variant" (the variant can be specified in the work center defined in the Operation and can be seen in the BOM by activating the column)

I'm not sure what you are asking but may you are talking about producing multiple parts from one component. If so by-product may help you. We've tried it by creating a cnc job number as a part number and for its BOM we listed the produced parts as by-products with there relevant share of the component/material. Maybe this helps!
