Hello,

I’m currently facing an issue while trying to import products with variants into Odoo 18 Enterprise SaaS. Each time I try to import the data, I receive the following error:

"Import preview failed due to: 'model_name'. 

For CSV files, you may need to select the correct separator."


But I did the same in another database it works fine.


Does anyone know about that or have a solution to this issue?

Hi,

You may get this message if a special character like / is present in your column names

Thank you Vincent. It is hard to believe that Odoo doesn't understand a format created by itself. When you export a database from Odoo, it comes with this special characters that after is not able to understand.
