in my Odoo 8 application the CSV file import option is missing. My check box
"Settings->General Settings->Allow users to import data from CSV files"
is checked but still the button is missing. i dont have idea what im missing here. Any help will be appreciated

The user that you want to import with probably doesn't have enough security rights (write) on that model.
how will this be enable for that user, can you plz guide
