Damien first worked at Odoo from 2014 to 2020, and held several different positions in that time: developer for the Odoo.com platform, for the Odoo product itself, worked on upgrades and at technical support then finally as team leader for a development team.

After a 'Odoo-hiatus', Damien came back to Odoo in 2022 as a Product Owner, helping to shape the future of the Odoo product.

Ever done a ./odoo-bin -h then felt a bit like 🫠? You're not alone!

Sure we've all used -u, but do you know what --proxy-mode does? Do you know of to change the log-level of one specific Odoo module (but not the whole server)? What the heck these so called SERVER_WIDE_MODULES can be?

In this talk, we'll go through all the options of the CLI, explain what they impact inside (and outside) of Odoo, why and when to use them.
