Ana is an Industrial Engineer with 10 years of experience in different fields such as the automotive, air transport, and steel manufacturing industries. She has been working for Odoo for one year and a half as a business analyst, and she is part of the manufacturing experts team. Part of her job is to analyze the customer needs, suggest solutions and help them with the implementation and the necessary configurations to go live. She also gives internal support to my colleagues with manufacturing-related questions and feedback to the Product Owners.
Subcontracting some operations to a vendor is common in many manufacturing companies. Even if every company is different, the challenges they face are similar. With its MRP subcontracting feature, Odoo can help to handle this flow easily by managing the inventory of raw materials at the subcontractor’s location, shipping raw materials to the subcontractors at the right time, and providing tools to have a good communication flow with the subcontractors.
