Florian worked for several group accounting departments, being responsible for annual reports and group financials according to German GAAP and IFRS. He has broad experience in forecasting/budgeting and finance software. Currently, he is an Odoo Finance Consultant at syscoon, the leading Odoo Gold Partner in Germany for all accounting and financial requirements.
With our broad experience in group accounting, we will show how to extend Odoo by adding important features for group financials. Those features include movement types for complex assets, provision, equity registers, and assistance for later financial/legal consolidation (which comprises IC partner, automated charging of IC costs, second ledger for IFRS accounting).
We will also talk about providing consolidated financial statements, using the entire spectrum from a group chart of accounts, an overview of all company trial balances in local and group currency, including currency translation differences. Also, we will focus on how to "eliminate" IC amounts instead of "leaving them away."
The target audience of this talk is CFOs & Group Accountants from international corporates and Odoo Partners interested in international and multi-company accounting and how to build Group Financials via a legal consolidation.
