We introduced an Odoo-based procurement solution for a prominent client of ours, a leading mining company in Indonesia. With a characteristically conservative technology approach, burdened by the old ways, Odoo turned its heavy procurement process around. Through this solution, we helped the client increase efficiency and save costs.
• The procurement impacts not only the client but also its more than 300 vendors.
• The client can now manage more than 200 tenders and over 500 bids per month, whereas they previously could only process 100 tenders as they had to do it manually.
• Automating the trigger to send more than 10,000 email notifications per month.
• Each demand from the production line can now be fulfilled with a 68% cut to the average number of days needed to go through a procurement cycle. It was around a month and a half manually, but through Odoo, it now takes about 2 weeks.
• The procurement system processes USD 20,000,000 of purchases every month.
• It results in a more efficient procurement cycle and happier suppliers who see their cash turnaround accelerated by 15%.
