André Joly is the Co-founder and CEO of SIMSOFT INDUSTRY: an artificial intelligence startup that develops intelligent voice assistants for technicians in the industry.
Previously, he held sales, management, and development positions in several companies in France and Canada.
SIMSOFT INDUSTRY is an artificial intelligence startup that develops voice assistance services for industrial clients. The company has about 20 employees and a sales team of four people.
To support our commercial growth over long sales cycles with major industrial clients, we wanted to implement an efficient and scalable CRM that could be completely controlled internally. After that, we started using Odoo for invoicing, time tracking, and marketing campaigns.
Going from XLS tables to a CRM / invoicing / time and project tracking solution was a small revolution for us. The difficulty was not technical but rather related to the necessary evolution of working methods. We chose to implement Odoo ourselves. The reason was not economic but related to the difficulty of precisely defining what we had to implement without having the experience of using Odoo. The in-house implementation allows us to tailor Odoo to the company needs, thus not being a "prisoner" of an implementation carried out at a given moment.
The combination of Studio and very efficient support service allows us to do almost anything we wish to implement.
