Subcontracting the manufacturing of products is becoming more and more common in supply chain management.
Thanks to Odoo's new subcontracting functionality, you will be able to easily manage this situation. When subcontracting products, it is important to clearly define the subcontracted products and their corresponding subcontractors. You also need to track the stock level of the subcontractors to make sure they don't run out of stock, and resupply components when necessary. In the end, you have to receive the finished products, ensuring their traceability.
In this talk, we will see how to handle those use-cases directly in Odoo through a few examples and illustrate how the new subcontracting functionality will ease the management of subcontractors.
