I have recently started with Odoo 15 and so far so good. I have a pre-Odoo workflow I'm trying to figure out how to do in Odoo.

I take a "reservation deposit" to start working on a sales quote. 

The sales quote may be revised many times after the reservation deposit it placed, so we don't want it confirmed yet. 

Is there a way to send an invoice from a quote that is not confirmed?

What I'm currently doing is a separate transaction and noting it on the sales quote. But they don't relate to each other. I'm trying to clean up the process.
