Hi,

We are currently developing an e-commerce platform for which we require restricted access of inventory goods as well as contacts. I tried searching on the forums and I did find some record rules vis a vis company Id and user Id but I was unable to implement them in the record rules part of Odoo. 

In addition, we would be having a parent company and multiple child companies under this. Hence, we would like to put in place a record rule where by the parent company should be able to access all details of the child companies but each child company should have access only to their contacts and inventory.
