Hi everyone, In my company we are working with odoo 12 ce and works great with custom modules but due to new requirements we have to create and fill forms outside of internet coverage areas (highlands) and my question is, what is the best way to use odoo offline considering that the time window without internet connection could be days or even weeks. There is a way to fill the form offline and when the tablet or cellphone gets connected again send the data automatically to the server? Thanks in advance for your responses.
Odoo is the world's easiest all-in-one management software.
It includes hundreds of business apps:
- CRM
- e-Commerce
- Accounting
- Inventory
- PoS
- Project
- MRP

The best way (cheapest and fastest) to use Odoo offline is to purchase a cellular based internet backup connection.
Companies like Ventus - https://www.ventusgns.com/ - for example.
Only Point of Sale can work offline.
There was a discussion on the OCA mailing-list about database synchronisation offline/online. This was done by Yelizariev and others. If Ray Carnes option (wich is easier) is not possible, you may ask for help on the list. See https://odoo-community.org/groups/contributors-15
