In Odoo Payroll, overtime is usually calculated based on the total hours worked during the entire payslip period (for example, two weeks or a month). Because of this, Odoo combines both weeks and sees the total hours instead of checking each week separately, so the overtime is not calculated correctly. In your case, overtime should be counted per week, where only the second week has 4.5 hours above the 40-hour schedule. To fix this, the overtime salary rule needs to be adjusted so that it calculates overtime week by week instead of for the full payslip period. This is usually done by modifying the salary rule logic or adding a small customization so the system checks weekly hours before calculating overtime.
