I cant find in odoo 16 the tab dynamic placeholder generator for email templates or a work around.
Any suggestions?

This is now an editor command - type / to see a list of all Commands.
Dynamic Placeholder is at the bottom of the list.

No puedo establecer el campo, aunque logro completar la seleccion aun asi no funciona
For me, on Odoo Online 16, the dynamic placeholder keeps on disapearring (the windows flashes, then diseappears), even when all the fields are populated... Any idea of the way to fix this ?
I have the same issue. v16 is very buggy. Working on these email templates is very frustrating.
But When I clic It nothing happens :-(
I found the solution.
You first have to populate all the other field for dynamic place holder to work
