Sometimes you are faced with stock mistakes.  Then a product is placed on a WH/OUT, but there is no stock.  When we correct the stock position of that article, still we cannot get it delivered in the WH/OUT.  
Now I cope with this by cancelling the sales order and starting all over again.   
Is there not better way to do ?

Maybe one more question. Would you be able to explain what is the logic behind this solution ?
First there was no stock for the order line.
But still apparently odoo reserved something, which needed to be unreserved because this order could take the stock that was added ?
What is this reservation about ?

Maybe you can try to 'Unreserve' and then click 'Check Availability' on WH/OUT, it would unreserve and then make fresh reservation based on stock position
