Hi Odoo users, 

Is there any difference using odoo on Ubuntu desktop, or using  virtual machine on windows 10, so that i can use ubuntu desktop in combination with vmware pro? The point is to use my computer as local server. 

When should i use  vmware pro?

I really want to use my computer as local server, so that i can have access to odoo, by typing the ipaddress on the chrome browser.

What is the best option?
