Hi everybody,
New to Odoo and looking to replace Streak CRM, add email marketing and while at it add business operations (invoices, accounting, etc.) and installed it on a local server to see and.. it seems quite interesing! I come from the sales part of the business world, am not a developer/sysadmin and have some questions before presenting this idea to the ownership (cloud version), so thought I'd ask the experts!
1- CRM: can you map on an import the stage of the sales cycle an opportunity is at? The downloadable template does not have that it seems.
2- Email marketing: I've used MailChimp, Constant Contact and Wix, took a peek at Odoo's which seems simple yet effective. Anything to look out for?
3- The Website bit seems capable but how does it stack Vs WordPress, especially for SEO?
4- The eLearning module is something we need for customer-based training and certification. Looks like we can make that happpen (create courseware and exams, invite users trough a login/password process, teach, quiz and certify). Am I missing anything? Our needs are pretty basic.
5- Accounting: how "good" is it? I know it's subjective, and we're moving from Xero should we make the call. How hard is it to migrate the data from Xero to Odoo (and any recommended tools to the work)?
