Hello Everybody

I've stumbled across a scenario where the company want to sell products to the customer but keep the products at the company stock in an separate location , there is a similar counterpart case but it work for supplier that want to keep stock at the company , is there a possibility to have the same scenario but for customer side ? Thanks

I believe you should be able to apply the same concept of consignee stock to this scenario.

You would need a delivery operation followed by a receipt operation in order to identify the owner and storage location. Can be achieved with a push rule

An alternate could be to define the separate location type as 'customer location' and update this location as customer location in customer contact, this would create DO from WH/stock to this location.

You could use this route if the location is dedicated to customer stock and a customer always buys and stores those products at this location. While this move can be accomplished with only 1 operation, downside is that you wouldn't be able to assign owner i.e differentiate between  customers
