I need to migrate Odoo 8 to Odoo 13 CE. However, as far as I could see, the first step is to migrate Odoo 8 to Odoo 9. I've read the OpenUpgrade documentation, but they are not specific about the steps (eg. command lines) to take to perform this migration. How am I supposed to update a module? Do I need to write the code manually? I have no experience in Odoo and in migration, so I'm really confused about how to perform this.

If you have any sources (besides the OpenUpgrade documentation) on how to perform this, I would really appreciate it.
