I'd like to host Odoo, so far i'm hosting it at Amazon EC2, but since at Siteground i can have a cPanel & WHM, easier way to setup things, should i host Odoo there?
Odoo is the world's easiest all-in-one management software.
It includes hundreds of business apps:
- CRM
- e-Commerce
- Accounting
- Inventory
- PoS
- Project management
- MRP
This question has been flagged
(1) - Odoo does not match Shared Hosting (End Point)
(2) - To install Odoo you do not need CPanel
(3) - RAM 2GB to use Apps Website Builder + Design + eCommerce Blogs + + + Show Forums
(4) - 1GB RAM to use CRM + Sales + Subscriptions (Up to 10 Moderate Use)

You can install Nginx to facilitate user access! As a matter of convenience, you can redirect traffic on the default HTTP port (80) to OpenERP communication port 8069, so that users no longer need to enter the port number 8069 each time you access the OpenERP system.
I hope to have Contributed.
It is never good to host Odoo in a Shared hosting. I think in shared hosting you will find difficult to host your website in Odoo. Also shared hosting is not good for enterprise software whereas data is important. VPS is the best option where as you can have your own server and manage that in your own way with proper security.
www.digitalocen.com is trustful VPS to host Odoo. Compare to that Amazon EC2 is too much costly but it is 100% secure whereas it offers private key login into server.
I suggest you to not go for siteground or hostgettor for host odoo in Shared hosting. By the way Odoo is not that much difficult that you need Cpanel to manage your Odoo. Just find someone to install Odoo in proper manner. You can read some steps to secure your Odoo over here in this link.
Hope this helps,
I could not understand this sentence: "Compare to that Amazon EC2 is too much costly but it is 100% secure whereas it offers private key login into server." Could you please explain me that?
It may be easier to set up "things", but it is definitely more complicated to properly set up Odoo and properly manage it. So I would stay with AWS.
