I am using cloud version 12. Once an order is shipped we send an email with the tracking information. At this point we are not using the shipping Module. How can I send a message to the customer through odoo with the shipping information? I will also need to be able to attach the invoice.

You should enable developer mode then go to settings, under the "Technical" menu you can find "Outgoing Mail Servers" where you should enter your email server and account settings (values are variable based on email provider)

After this you should go to "Technical" menu again then "Templates" to create the email you want to be sent
