Company A is selling service contracts that an installation is maintained by a service-worker once a year.

At the beginning of the year, an invoice should be created automaticly and a open-task inside a project "maintainance service"

is this possible by creating a service product with "create task in existing project" and hit subscription checkbox?

This is working fine intially when the sales order is marked as valid. But will this work on the subscription base that the task is created every subscription period?
