New implementation V16 online with Studio. I have been running a test company and am getting ready to start the real company to use. I tried adding a second company for the "real" one but there is a lot of shared db entries so that doesn't seem to work. I then created a new DB but that is going to require additional subscriptions which we don't want. Is there any other way to maintain a testing site and a live site at the same time without double subscriptions?
Odoo is the world's easiest all-in-one management software.
It includes hundreds of business apps:
- CRM
- e-Commerce
- Accounting
- Inventory
- PoS
- Project management
- MRP

When you create a duplicate of your Odoo Enterprise DB, the new one expires after a 30-day period. Then, if you still need a test environment, you can create a new DB from the production one.
Very important: remember to disable all external connections (like mail servers). I use to disable them on the original DB, make the copy, then re-enable the connections on the original DB. This will ensure that you don't lose any incoming mail, and that you won't send mail to your customers as results of your tests. Other external connections can be EDI, mobile notifications, etc.
