Dear all,

I started in a new job very recently, where my firm is going to implement the V14 of Odoo. In addition their current website is not written in WP, but the new one is going to be.

Additionally they will also purchase the WooCommerce connector. Since  I am not an IT expert, I am pretty lost right now. My role is to determine what are the benefits and the possible disadvantages of this move. I have already gained some info but I haven't been able to find anything about this.

How will the data exchange  going  to  happen  between WooCommerce-Odoo and the website?

How can I make sure that the retrieved data will be sent in the proper accounts lets say?

Any kind of help would be very appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

I am in the same boat, so please comment any solution you find. We are currently Wordpress/WooCommerce and evaluating the Emipro plug-in, but having issues with the initial set-up for communication.

Hi Jill,
Unfortunately I don't have much to tell you already. We just migrated to Odoo v14 last week, bought the connector yesterday and working on WP.
In case you are not able to figure this out, you can arrange a call with Emipro, or let them do all the configuration which I believe is a cost of 299$.

Hi,

As you are planning to purchase third party modules, i guess its better to ask the module authors about the same.

The flow and design can vary from one module to another depending on the author. If you found some apps that fits you need, contact the author of the module, get a demo and understand how it works, and if everything okay, you can purchase it.

Also checking the index files of the module, you will get some information.

Mostly all the modules will use this python package:   https://pypi.org/project/WooCommerce/

Thanks
