I feel like I must be doing something incorrectly.

When a Marketing Automation campaign is started the matching records aren't becoming participants.

In my sample of filter shows 5 records as matching but even after running for several hours it still shows 0 participants.

Running 16 on sh.

What step am I missing?

I found this Jose video at 7:35 that mentions matching records https://youtu.be/p8tDeDQHbaE?si=RDr0s-FabSEGfScU&t=455

Should have mentioned I was testing in a STAGING branch on SH. I think I've found the issue.

Created a testing Marketing Automation campaign in production (didn't like doing that) and it seemed to work fine.

The two required server actions, 'Marketing Automation: execute activities' and 'Marketing Automation: sync participants' are setup as scheduled actions. It would seem that when a staging branch is created they are set to inactive.

Participants may not be added due to:

  • Entry criteria not being met
  • Segment/list not populating
  • Suppression or exclusion rules
  • Contact already in the flow
  • Campaign not activated
  • Sync issues or delays

Double-check filters, test with a known contact, and ensure the automation is live. Let me know the platform for specific help!

How have you set up the filter? I have had some similar issues in the past with the Marketing automation, but it works fine, and the participants are added, when I set the same filter on the campaign and on the activity.

If you have the filter set on the campaign, but nothing on the activity, this could be the issues?
