Hi there,

Is there an installation guide for installing OpenERP on CentOS 6.5? We have a brand new dedicated server we need this installed on. We are also willing to pay for this service.

Hello,

refer link http://gurn3ys.tuxfamily.org/?p=65

Thanks

We have tried this but have not been able to get it going. Our hosting company is saying that openerp can not be installed on a linux server if cpanel is installed. Do you have any knowledge about this?

It is possible that cpanel has some compatibility requirements with python that contradicts OpenERP. I can look into that and look for a solution. Send a message wth contact data to u88776@mailinator.com

There is no problem with cpanel, maybe you do need some ports opened to work with OpenERP

Maybe if you tell us a little more we can help you:

  1. Did you follow the instalation guide mentioned by Jack ?

  2. OpenERP starts up ?

$ su - openerp
$ ./openerp-server

Is there a message like

INFO ? openerp.service.wsgi_server: HTTP service (werkzeug) running on 0.0.0.0:8069

  1. Can you connect from localhost ?

$ wget -O - http://localhost:8069
