Odoo is the world's easiest all-in-one management software. It includes hundreds of business apps:

Why there is no validation in the manager and deparment fields for both the manager and the employee?
There is no validation on the field "Manager" in the form "Employee" with relation to the department that both the employee and the manager are in!!
Is there any meaning to such loose data?
The validation for department and manager relationships to employee are possibly very different depending on the company.
Can two departments have the same manager? Can an employee have no manager? Can an employee in one department be managed by a manager in another department? I've worked in companies where all three are true.
My hunch: Odoo usually leaves such company specific customizations to users.
