Odoo is the world's easiest all-in-one management software. It includes hundreds of business apps:
CRM | e-Commerce | Accounting | Inventory | PoS | Project management | MRP | etc.
Sales transactions at the POS level do not trigger accounting entries on stock accounts (via the Stock Journal)
On the contrary, customer invoices do create entries to reflect the delivery (in quantity) AND in value.
What is wrong and how to correct this for the POS?
Which version of Odoo are you using ? I use Sale and Point of sale module and I don't have this problem.
In point of sale:
- Stock Journal entries are created when the pos.order is 'paid';
- Sale Journal and Bank Journal entries are created when the pos.session is 'closed';
Stock journal are only created if the valuation of the product is set to real time. But this setting affects both 'sale' and 'point_of_sale' modules.
