I have installed openerp 7.0-20140117-002509-1 in Ubuntu 12.04, After i installed i am searching the folder openerp 7.0-20140117-002509-1/server/server/addons for installing new module but i cant find the correct path/location.
I don't know there is still some process is there to bring that folder.
Could any one help me out please.......

you can install new module in the addon folder In ubuntu addons folder < Filesystem -> opt/openerp/server/openerp/addons

Ashmsh.M in my machine there are no folders inside the opt.
Ashmsh.M i have addons in two different location 1.usr/lib/pymodules/python2.7/openerp/addons 2.usr/share/pyshare/openerp/addons when i try to copy new module folder it doesn't accept copying can you help me
You can change the permission of the folder in ubuntu using the chmod command
if you get openerp in the browser "localhost:8069"
