Why are Canadian and Mexican states not included in that res.country.state file by default?

Is my installation faulty or is openerp missing this by default?

Is there a custom module that includes this?

Only the USA states are included.

There are some community modules that fill the gap:

Canada - http://v6apps.openerp.com/addon/1568

Mexico - https://github.com/Fedrojesa/l10n_mx_states

Are you interested in the entire world - or just those two countries? I have a module based on ISO data from last year that I could push to launchpad if you need it.

Thanks for your reply. I popped in the states that I needed, no big deal. It just seemed odd to me that only US states are included.
