Some people call me a karma whore, I only ask for 10 points if you like my answer and 15 if I happen to get it correct.

The terminology of Master comes from GitHub and it refers to future development (in this case Odoo v9 and possibly Saas-6).

You may also see Online.  Online is Odoo's way of saying that if you are an Odoo SaaS customer, you can install and use the module.  Remember that only approved applications can be installed on odoo's SaaS servers.

Thank for ur replay..

Also if you see a spammer in the forum, you don't need to reply to them since youu have more than 1000 karma points you can close the thread for reason of "SPAM". It will deduct 10 karma points making their karma negative and they can never post on the forums again.

Does it mean it will not work for an independant odoo instance (private on dedicated server or cloud) ? or it's not stable, or it's just reserved for saas customers ?

all modules work on standalone private odoo instances. The SaaS marking are the limited approved modules that odoo will permit (allow) to run on their servers. All modules could run on their servers but they do not permit the installation of all modules (modules not written by odoo) for security reasons (they have not done code review of other modules to check for security holes)... Hope that was clear enough.
