How should "Locations" and "Warehouses" in OpenERP be interpreted as? Should there be a location and a warehouse for each customer we ship to? If not, what "places" should we pick to become "Locations" or "Warehouses" in OpenERP?

I have digged lot of information from the books online from OpenERP:
The link points to the chapter Managing Physical Inventory Structure
as here you will find lot of information about Warehouses and Locations. As I understand, warehouses are your physical locations, where you have your stock. And Locations can cover much more cases, including virtual locations, shops, supplier locations, etc. Then using the chained locations
property you can move stock between them and the warehouse.
You can have more information on this answer to the question of Base configurations for stock management
Locations are used for inventory. Create a location for any place where you want to know the inventory.
