I have created a company in openerp . i have added one bank account.

Check ISO 9362 description, who defines what a BIC is : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_9362

You need to set valid "Account Number" and "Bank Identifier Code" under Bank master.

Thank you akshay, Can you please tell me where is bank master menu. I unable to find. I goto Accounting -> Configuration -> Accounts -> Setup your bank accounts . Here when i create a bank with "Iban account" type i am getting this error
