https://doc.openerp.com/trunk/server/form-view-guidelines/ has some interesting information about version 7.0 forms, but; I have been unable to determine why the appearance and order of fields has changed so drastically when I install a 6.1 custom module in 7.0. Is there some other documentation that talks about the forms handling changes between the two versions?
I had hopes that the release notes http://v6.openerp.com/node/1272 would provide more insight but I learned nothing about the order of fields changing.
