when i enter my VAT ( BTW ) number it says that its the wrong format. Tried everything, nothing works. Even the proposed format in the pop-up box is not accepted ? Anyone know whats wrong ?

Hi, Try to input: BE1234567890
the code for BTW is begin with BE and 10 number digit after that. and some of that number is a check sum.
tried with BE0477472701.

Found it : after trying to save a wrong VAT code you need to first empty the field, save it and then try the correct one and save again: then it accepts
