Here is my problem : I sell tee shirts : color : blue and red ans size L & XL. Only the Blue XL is 1$ more expensive than the base price. Where do I add the +1€ ? not on blue variant because the blue L is at the base price, not at XL size because the yellow XL is at the base price. Any chance to solve this problem ? Thanks a lot
My real case is with 200.000 products, and I could use the list prices with variants, unfortunately, we cannot use categories either with variants, since I cannot set every variant price individually in the list price configuration (otherwise I would have a price rule with about 50.000 tests), I wonder if anybody already solved this kind of configuration.
Thanks a lot.
W.r.t your query, I have gone through it and tried to replicate it. Few recommendations which I would like to suggest you which might cater to your needs are as follows:-
Firstly, if public price of any of the variant is changed then it will automatically impact the product template and also other variants Public Price.
This is because Sale Price of Product Template and Public Price of Variants are interrelated.
For e.g. a 100$ increase in the Public Price of any of variants of any particular product will lead to increase of 100$ in the Product template as well as in all variants.
If you want to have different Public Price for different variants you need to set prices of variants by going to “Variants Prices” in the product form. This can be done by following Sales> Products>Products>Variants Prices.
As in your case you sell tee shirts : color : blue and red ans size L & XL. Only the Blue XL is 1$ more expensive than the base price. So the extra price which you have mentioned in your query can be added here
