Why would you not want to use a back order? If you are splitting the delivery, the second split is a backorder of the first split, isn't it?

Many thanks for reply. I have a order with multiple seller product and i want to create multiple picking corresponding to each seller. Each picking contains only moves line creates for seller product order line of sale order. If I'll use backorder then every time one picking will be canceled and we have to create new picking for each seller. Is it write way to do this? Please suggest proper way to this. Thanks
