Using v9, we have a catchall email address to capture emails relating to Sales Opportunities. An email comes in and an Opportunity is created correctly.
But apart from having the 'notification by email' switched on for a partuclar user, there is no visual trigger as there was in the menu for Opportunities in v8, where if a new message/notification was received an icon with the number of unread messages was shown. This does not seem to be the case in v9.. It may be possible to write an action, but for something as fundamental working the way that odoo is intended I would think this should be easier.
Also there is an icon in CRM in v9 for 'important' messages which are flagged by an icon, but what are regarded as important ?
