Hello all i need to know if it is possible without using extra resources to have multiple odoo install's on my server where the database used is chosen by the domain that the client is visiting. Is it possible if so how?

yes it is possible
what you need to is configure the openerp_config.conf file
define the instance/version with differetn port
and configure the daemon too if you use linux
i fotget to tell you that for security reason you need to create the postgre user for each of them then set up the default database in config file
database used is chosen by the domain
Nope, currently odoo doesn't support this feature.
