I am hopeful that someone has used this system for Meat Production Company. I am trying to determine a method for converting US Pounds to Cases. We manufacturer product in pounds and sell by cases. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Your presentation is operational if all units are in the same unit category (in your example the category "volume"). But if the units are in different cétégories ("volume" and "weight" for example) it does not work ! That's six months I try to explain and understand this ....
This is simply not true. It works perfectly with different UoM categories. Please check your settings.
I buy hundreds of products to the linear meter and I sell by the kilogram. But for every product a length of 1 meter does not carry the same weight. It's a bit like your 0.75 liter bottle could contain a varying number of glass 5 cl following the wine is red, rosé or white!
If there is red, rosé and white wine, then there are also 3 different products with 3 different BoMs, each of these BoMs with another ratio. But we should not hijack another thread. I assume you still refer to your thread https://www.odoo.com/forum/help-1/question/v8-how-to-manage-product-unit-99991. I suppose that you did not yet fully understand the concepts of product, variant, BoM and UoM. Please provide a document which shows your use case in an understandable way and then you will also get appropriate help.
