guessing - if you are asking for windows installation, and it is because of installer does not offer installing database, then solution is to start regedit, and look for entries with 'openerp' and/or 'odoo', and delete them manually; I know how it sound, but helped in my case.

I'm on Linux / Ubuntu server distribution 12.04 LTS, in fact I am looking for a complete and clean openerp 7 uninstall, because I found a lot of methods but not clean Uninstall.
