Does any one know how to make the char of account or any of the list view to appear as unfold by default?

No, but as a workaround you can create multiplr views of your chart so the user can select a view that requires less drilling down.
For example, create an account called sales with no parent and an internal type of Consolidation. Then in the consolidation children section, add the view account you have for sales. Now you can either open the whole chart or just the sales view section.
